Seattle has been well known for its musical history around the years, with large number of night clubs around the Jackson Street. City of Seattle is geographically located in the County of King in the State Washington. Around the years the city has been the center for numerous museums, ranging from Art to Research. From the entire list of these museums, if you have limited time span there are few recommended Art Galleries which one should visit if they are in this Musical City of having a huge collection of its Artwork.

* Bellevue Arts Museum: Established in 1975 in a Schoolhouse this Museum displays Art works in various disciplines such as arts, crafts, and design work, which mainly highlights Pacific Northwest artists and their culture. It has gone through various up and down through it's time and had finally been remodeled and reopened in 2005. The Museum is just across the Bellevue Square and its major attractions include Peter Pierobon's Chair Stack sculpture, Etsuko Ichikawa's glass pyrograph Traces of the Molten State and Gail Grinnell's textile sculpture.
* Center on Contemporary Art: This particular museum located in CoCA Belltown, 2721 First Ave is a major attraction center for the Contemporary arts in the Pacific Northwest. It is trying its best to motivate contemporary art forms by organizing Individual as well as group shows making the audience learn from it. Among the solo artists who have performed over here are Haris Purnomo, Tracy Boyd, Kyle Cook and photographer Sara Skinner, while the group shows concentrate more on outdoor sculpture, black history month and tattooing.
* Frye Art Museum: Well-known as the first Free Arts Museum, it started in 1952. From the beginning of it's time to present date it has been mainly focusing on paintings and sculptures. Located in the First Hill Neighborhood in Seattle, Washington this Museum is a home for American, French and German Art Culture.

In addition, to the above mentioned Art Museums, there are even other Museums like Henry Art Gallery, Seattle Art Museum (SAM) and Seattle Asian Art Museum (SAAM), which not only preserves the ancient Art works but even motivates the youth to develop and display their Artistic skills. It has been truly said that, "Seeing is Believing". The physical or concrete evidence help us to relate more easily to the subject what a person is trying to explain in context to the textual information written in a book.

If you are very much interested to know about the art history of your local neighborhood or want to explore more about the cultural importance of a place you are visiting this weekend Arts America can guide you through this. It even updates you about the various Arts events which are organized by this Art Galleries.
